Three-piece neck. All our guitars feature a three-piece neck.
This design increases stability and helps control the neck’s elasticity.
Apollo 16″ – semihollow guitar is a full-body, semi-hollow, double cutaway guitar with classic lines and traditional craftsmanship.
Built entirely by hand, without the use of CNC machines, Apollo follows the same high-standard construction approach as every Fremediti instrument.
We use premium-grade tonewoods to construct Apollo, ensuring exceptional stability and tonal consistency. We carefully select and individually laminate each wood layer. Throughout the process, tone characteristics of every top and back are assessed to achieve a rich, balanced sound.
We craft the center block from carefully chosen American maple and spruce. We shape it in a way that lets the two hollow chambers interact acoustically, enhancing the guitar’s resonance and harmonic “breathing.”
Two custom-wound VF-59 Vintage humbuckers power Apollo’s electric voice, with an optional Varitone 5-way rotary switch expanding tonal flexibility. This setup offers the player access to a wide range of sounds suitable for any genre or playing style.
Apollo stands out as a versatile and expressive instrument—built for musicians who demand character, precision, and depth in every note.

Handmade laminated plates. We carefully select and laminate the wood layers for the tops and backs of our hollow and semi-hollow models.
Throughout the process, we check the tone characteristics of each plate.
We adjust their thickness and hardness to achieve a balanced tone.
Varitone RLC Notch Filter. The varitone circuit acts as an RLC notch filter added to the guitar’s main circuit.
It uses various capacitors to reduce frequencies at specific points within the overall bandwidth. Rotating the varitone from position 1 to position 5 shifts the filter’s center frequency (f0) from higher to lower frequencies.
To achieve the best results, the circuit’s characteristics must adjust according to the guitar’s main circuit specifications—such as pickups, pots, capacitors, and cable types.
We carefully tailor these settings to optimize the varitone’s performance.
